Branding and communication

P4K

P4K’s (Partnership 4 Kids) branding is built off the idea that education is like a set of building blocks. Each block is stacked on each other with an emphasis on the importance of having a strong foundation and reliable support. They can be found all throughout our lives; from our early days of playing with alphabet blocks up to standing on a podium “block” at graduation. With four program areas to offer, the brand must be flexible for usage throughout all four.

The logo is adapted for each of the four major programs P4K has to offer; Elementary, Middle School, High School and Post Secondary. This is accompanied with an expanded color pallet that showcases the shading of the P4K block.

A major component of the brand is the adaptability of all the assets depending on the need. With four major programs and a variety of communication points, P4K needed to be able to adjust depending on the situation. The block grid pattern proved to be key in this. It can be scaled as needed, recolored for the program and have a variety of sizes to help call out information.
